Words with Friends wouldn't permit the word JEW
Turns out Hasbro removed the word (along with other offense words like FARTED, FATSO, and BOOBIE!) from the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary under political pressure from the National Council of Jewish Women and Anti-Defamation League.
